Treasurer’s Report:
Approximately $2000 behind where we were last year at this time because registration became available later this year

Currently 25 people registered

2019 conference will be cheaper, but with similar income

Recently switched from PayPal to Wild Apricot

2019 Conference Chair’s Report:
We will deploy graduate student volunteers to help set up in rooms

Yesterday Natalia met with a secretary and public programs at The New School

University cannot pay for catering like we thought, so we must use debit or credit card

Natalia met yesterday with Center for Jewish History (CJH)

Hope many participants will attend the CJH event

CJH staff of 10 people can attend sessions for free if they want

Rebecca needs to email all participants regarding program and registration

Graduate student volunteers will do headcounts in rooms

Maybe work with a professional event management organization in the future

No fitness class during conference like previously suggested

President’s Report:
Food labels for common allergens

Due to a non-negotiable conflict, Sarah cannot attend the conference. Bryn Upton will present the Ross Prize, and Paul Murphy will present the Book Prize. Someone else will need to conduct the business meeting, but not sure who that will be or what will be on the agenda.

President Lunch originally to raise money, and last year we discussed harassment policy – this year it does not need to cover anything in particular

Andrew Klumpp will handle all money on site

Briefly brought up 2021: still in negotiations

Publication Chair’s Report:
Book reviews are going well. Much of the content is from before 1860, which is great

Holly Genovese is stepping down from the blog

Lora Burnet is focused on expanding the voices of the blog

We need to expand the book review team

Secretary’s Report:

Email inbox is empty

Commends Andrew Klumpp’s efforts to register for people

Emailing all participants today about the program and registration

A month before the conference, I will email the graduate student volunteers to give them code for discounted registration and to sign them up for shits
