Carlye Mahler is a graduate student in the Department of History at the Ohio State University. Her research interest is in modern US history.   How do you define intellectual history? To me intellectual history is all about the evolution and impact of ideas. My definition stretches to include those not traditionally considered philosophers or great thinkers.   What are you working on now?
