We are thrilled about the upcoming S-USIH annual meeting, to be held in New York City, at the New School, from November 7-10, 2019. We have a block of rooms at the lovely Washington Square Hotel, just a few blocks from The New School and near New York University. Because housing and hotels are expensive in New York City, and especially in Greenwich Village, we have assembled a list of options that we hope will assist conferees in finding a lodging option that works for their budget. The sheet is self-explanatory, but please especially note the “Location” column, as we have included options in neighborhoods easily accessible by subway, but (some) at some distance from the conference site. While we will likely be holding conference-related activities in several buildings on campus, using the address of 63 5th Avenue will take you to our centrally located University Center, on 14th street and 5th avenue, which will be close to all our campus locations, as well at the heart of one of the most bustling locations in New York City. The New School is easily accessible by the many subways (map here) that stop at 14th street in Manhattan, and is closest to Union Square. You can easily plot your subway journey with this interactive map, or with Google Maps, which will give you good subway directions as well. We look forward to seeing you in NYC!
