The Society for U.S. Intellectual History is pleased to open the call for submissions for the Leo P. Ribuffo Prize for Best Dissertation in U.S. Intellectual History. The prize recognizes Ribuffo’s exemplary teaching and mentorship during his long and illustrious career at George Washington University.Those dissertations completed and successfully defended in 2020 will be eligible for the prize, now in its second year, which will be awarded at the October 28-31, 2021 conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Eligible candidates or their mentors should submit one electronic copy of the dissertation to Lisa Szefel, [email protected], by March 15, 2021. Hard copies submissions are also acceptable. The prize announcement will be made in June 2021.
